Life's about making choices. Every little thing we do, we do it because we choose to do so. The choices which we make are ours and ours alone. There is no one to blame, no one to become our scapegoat...

Some people choose to live in the past, always looking back at those junctions along the way when they took a wrong turn. Lamenting over their stupidity and refusal to go on, afraid that they'll make the same mistakes. They are really not afraid of their own inadequacies or their fallacies, but rather are afraid of what they can do to move on into uncharted territory.... Because they are afraid of hardship and setbacks which accompany such a choice.

Others choose to wait at a junction for others to pass before them. Not willing to commit themselves, not willing to admit that they make a mistake. They follow the crowd like a flock of sheep, blaming any misfortune which befalls them on the people who have gone before them... but really, who are the ones to blame for their plight? Unwilling to chart their own path. They are like leaves on the pond... going wherever the current takes them, discontent, but unwilling to help themselves. Contradict huh!

But there are some, a precious few... who walk their own path. With no one to guide them, with neither complaint nor regret for the path which they have chosen. They have made their choice, and are not afraid to pursue their ideals. Charting new territory for other to follow, they are the happiest of the above three. They are doing what they feel is right and that are on the right track to achieving their goal. People follow them because they are unable to understand why such people can be so at peace... Even though they are the only ones who take that path. They do not realise that each of them has his own path to take in achieving his goal in life.

There is no right or wrong path in life. Each one of us walks a journey different from the rest. But the difference lies in whether you are willing to chart ur own path, to mark a trail you can call your own or whether you would rather follow in the footsteps of others. Doing what you feel is right may not be what others feel is right. Your life is yours to chart and whatever decision you make. You make of your own free will.

ARE YOU WILLING TO TAKE THAT CHANCE OR LOOK BACK AND WONDER ENDLESSLY ABOUT "WHAT IF?" It is your choice to make and your life to lead. :)
